A little help
Your first few days with Tadly.
Start with one habit. These are the details that help along the way.
Choose a schedule that fits
Every day creates a daily habit. Some days lets you choose weekdays. Just once creates a task on one date. Other includes weekly or monthly targets and every few days. History starts when the habit begins; earlier days and future days do not count as misses.
Make time for one thing
Choose Minutes when creating a habit or task. Open Focus timer, select it and press Start timer. You can pause, navigate or reload the page. Save time adds the elapsed minutes to the selected day once; closing the panel keeps the timer available. Discard leaves your existing log unchanged. A session stops counting at 24 hours.
Write a little more
Journal and habit notes support headings, bold, italic, underline, highlighting, links, nested lists, checklists, quotes and code for free. Type Markdown shortcuts or open the keyboard icon for the shortcut guide; Ctrl/Cmd+Enter saves. Pro lets you attach up to eight JPEG, PNG or WebP images per note, each under 10 MB before Tadly resizes it. The journal list shows an attachment count; open an entry to preview its small photo thumbnails. Existing images remain readable if Pro ends, and they are included in your Tadly backup.
Know where your data lives
Guest habits, notes and images are saved in this browser on this device. Clearing site data, using a private window or changing browsers can remove or separate that copy. Export a backup before clearing browser data. The web app needs internet to load; an already open app can keep recording while offline.
Backup and sync do different jobs
A file export is a snapshot you keep. Manual Google Drive backup is free and needs Google sign-in. Encrypted device sync is a Pro connection that keeps supported Tadly clients up to date; protect the sync key needed to read your data. Neither feature makes a new browser's guest data automatically available until you restore or connect it.
Connect your tasks
Google Calendar is an optional Pro connection for one-off tasks. Open Settings → Account & connections to review the connection and its direction before enabling it. Repeating habits are tracked in Tadly. Health imports, a public API and other tracker imports are planned, not available web connections.
Bring a Tadly backup
Open Settings → Data and choose your Tadly backup file. Review the merge or replace choice before importing. Rich notes and their images travel in the same file. Import from other habit trackers is not supported yet; keep their original export until a supported migration path is available.
